Mission and vision

My Main Stage is a music production programme aims at nurturing young "singer-song producers" for the sustain development of the Hong Kong music industry Founded and curated by renowned and well-experienced local music producer Mr. Chiu Tsang Hei (Hei), who believes that this programme provides and supports local young people with an effective means and platform to produce and publish their own music. Eventually helping dedicated young singer-song producers establish their career in the Hong Kong music industry.

The progress

Starting from 2016, My Main Stage crew have offered free talk and performance to more 40+ secondary schools, local universities and community centers, reaching out to 5,000+ young people across Hong Kong. Got inspired, 60+ youngsters have joined the music production programme.
Among,3 of them have committed to pursue themselves in the music industry. Now they are working under the mentorship of Hei and have produced their own songs. Some of their works are already published on music platforms.

Programme description

My Main Stage is a music production workshop supervised by Hei's personally. Candidates work side by side with Hei during the every process in music production. With the support of all equipment provided by Hei and professional musicians from the industry as guest tutors, candidates acquire a comprehensive music production knowledge from My Main Stage programme, which is definitely benefited to the development of their music career.

Artist Partnership

Emerging Singer-Song Producers who successfully produced and published their own songs under My Main Stage Programme will have the opportunity to establish an artist partnership with 16TH Productions Ltd. Under this partnership, 16TH Productions Ltd. will work with Emerging Singer-Song Producers to establish their own music label and produce music on a professional basis, as well as provide support on productions, publishing, marketing and promotions and performance engagement. Currently more than 6 artists have partnered with 16TH Productions Ltd. They have successfully produced and published their works ,
